Whale Park and Thimbleberry Lake are easy walks from Eddystone. A underwater hydra-phone has been installed so that you can listen to the whales on the radio. Binoculars and a camera will serve you well. In the middle of summer our guests enjoy picking blueberries, huckleberries and salmon berries while walking or hiking. Whether your visit to Sitka is for business or pleasure, we want to help you maximize your time and will give diligent attention to assisting you with reservation requests for Sitka Summer Music Festival activities, sightseeing/wildlife tours, kayak rentals, and fishing charters.

Eddystone is four miles from downtown Sitka, Alaska. Alaska Airlines provides daily jet service direct from Seattle while the Alaska Marine Highway offers routine stops to Sitka via ferries. There is a shuttle bus from the airport and the ferry terminal that will deliver you to our door, but we recommend that you rent a car to really discover Sitka. Parking is not a problem as we are located off the main streets of Sitka on a private road. Directions to Eddystone are now provided on-line. Local car rental company North Star Rent Rent A Car will help you get around Sitka.
